Agency awards can be a useful tool to gauge the competency, ability and general flair of a business when deciding which company to use. But a lot comes down to how those accolades are awarded.

Quite a few are based on the "pay-to-play" model. In other words, you pay a (often hefty) fee and get an award. So in reality, sponsorship. We've always tended to shy away from those types of awards, as they've never felt genuine, but not all fall into that category...

TechBehemoths is a website that helps business to find an agency that is a good fit for them based on location, skillsets, reputation and other parameters. We like their approach and have maintained a listing on the site for over a year.

TechBehemoths also run an annual awards program. What we think is useful about their program is that it is based on 100% meritocracy - so whether you win an award or not is essentially down to if you get voted for, which is only likely to happen if you do work and enjoy a good reputation.
