What to do if (when!) you receive a negative review
Every business gets it wrong now and then. Or maybe your customers just think you did! What then?
Time for some slightly philosophical goodness. Take a breath. Every company sooner or later gets that scary 1 star rating. It may or may not be warranted and it's probably a rarity. After all, if you were rubbish at what you did all the time, you wouldn't have a business, would you?
Take it as either an opportunity to learn from your company's mistakes or to help your misinformed customer. Be nice. Reply promptly and professionally, offering to call or email to learn more.
Helping someone change their opinion of your business from a negative into a positive builds trust and can result in a very loyal future advocate for your firm. And it will make you feel good too.
